Episode 216: In this episode we’ll take a break from discussing the stock market and instead consider the one of the aspects of the art of negotiating. In particular, I’ll focus on the skill of distraction.
Understanding negotiation techniques is extremely important, if for no other purpose than these two reasons:
- You are compensated to the degree you can negotiate.
- By recognizing negotiation techniques you can prevent yourself from being taken advantage of.
That last point is especially applicable when listening to CEO’s talk up their company stock prospects.
